The governing board of our society is responsible for providing strategic direction, oversight, and governance to ensure the society fulfills its mission and serves its members effectively. Working collaboratively with the executive directors, the board sets long-term goals, approves policies, oversees financial management, and ensures legal and ethical compliance. Executive directors are responsible for the day-to-day operations and implementation of the board’s strategic decisions, managing staff, programs, and resources to carry out the society’s objectives. Together, the governing board and executive directors ensure the society remains mission-driven, accountable, and responsive to its community.
